In collaboration with Dr Hannah Fairbrother, Senior Lecturer in Public Health at the University of Sheffield.

 

Via Festival of the Mind funding, arts charity Ignite Imaginations and myself were able to work with Chilypep and YMCA Barnsley, to explore young peoples perspectives on health inequalities.

 

The participants worked with myself, to capture their thoughts, hopes, and frustrations on this topic.

 

I then took their creations as inspiration to create a large-scale installation, entitled ‘Can You Hear Me?’. This artwork represents the voices of the young people and was displayed as part of the Festival of the Mind
